Negotiantions Or Confrontations

In the current political scenario of Pakistan after emergency, a question might have aroused regarding negotiation and confrontation between the chairperson of PPP, Benazir Bhutto and COAS General Pervez Musharraf. Whether it is conundrum that needs to be solved or farce, to make the inhabitants of Pakistan, live in fool’s paradise.
Bringing the current political stance into lime light .Emergency rule was imposed in the country by General Pervez Musharraf which was indeed a Martial Law disguised as emergency. PCO was promulgated on Nov 3rd and held the 1973 constitution in abeyance. Court Martial for the civilians under Army Act 1952 was promulgated in the country. PPP chairperson confronted the behavior of General Pervez Musharraf vehemently and trying her utmost to stand by the people of Pakistan. She was held under house arrest couple of days ago when she committed to start a rally from Rawalpindi to Lahore. Though the house arrest was lifted due to foreign urges the next very day but again held under house arrest by the Punjab Govt. for seven days recently considering the act of BB as stimulation of violence and chaos in the country. PPP activists arrested and released at different intervals shows an utter opposition between the govt. and PPP.
The foregoing circumstances illuminates that govt. and PPP chairperson are at emphatic confrontation. But without reading between the lines and an analytical approach by the spectators, it would be a pedantic approach, curtailing the on-going negotiations between the PPP chairperson and General Musharraf.
One cannot forget the instance while the ex-prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif was deported back to Saudi-Arabia by Govt. which they considered will ensue into a thwart to current regime,on the other hand PPP chairperson was warmly welcomed by the people of Pakistan without any intervention by the Govt., despite of the corruption charges, on the contrary the govt. did its best to grab these charges under NRO which crystallize the status-quo: Musharraf and Benazir have cut a deal of power-sharing.
The on-going confrontations are indeed disguising the innocent people of Pakistan, so that in coming future PPP chairperson may be able to gain maximum sympathies and boost up its legions, which might lead her as the PM of Pakistan in the coming elections.
